Jonathan P. Rye - Chairman, Greenfield Commercial Credit

Jonathan Rye brings over thirty years of experience in manufacturing, banking, real estate, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. After receiving both his Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Michigan, he went on to become CEO of Lamb Technicon, a leading supplier of large automated manufacturing systems with sales of $400 million which was sold to Litton Industries in 1987. He is the President of Greenfield Commercial Credit and Chairman of the Board of Plymouth Venture Partners. Jonathan and his wife, Lisa, have also been involved the last 25 years in community projects in Michigan, including sponsoring research in immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School. Jonathan was an early supporter of the Wolverine Venture Fund at the University of Michigan Business School.


Harry Cendrowski - Managing Officer, Cendrowski Selecky

Harry Cendrowski has nearly 30 years of extensive experience in entrepreneurial, personal, and corporate tax matters. Harry has served clients in the real estate, manufacturing, professional services, investment, and professional sport franchise industries. His engagements have included mergers and acquisitions consulting, due diligence, complex commercial and divorce litigation, forensic accounting, and fraud auditing. He is a co-author of the book The Fraud Deterrence Handbook published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and was instrumental in developing the training program for the Certified Fraud Deterrence Analyst designation. Harry is an active participating member of numerous professional organizations including the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, where he has served in various leadership roles. Harry received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit.


Robert K. Chapman - President and CEO, United Bancorp, Inc.

Robert Chapman has spent his entire career in the financial services arena working for many years as the CFO of Ann Arbor Trust Company and its successor, Citizens Trust. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and CFO of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Robert has always been very involved in the Ann Arbor community currently serving as Chair of the Washtenaw United Way.  He is also past chairman and director of Dawn Farm and a member of the Washtenaw Project Great Start Leadership Commission.


Michael T. Coghlan - Managing Member, KHK Ventures LLC

Michael was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of a leading proprietary derivatives trading firm which was acquired by Goldman Sachs & Company in 2001. During his tenure, he served as Chairman of the Business Conduct Committee as well as served on various other committees at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Currently, Michael serves on the Board of Janeeva Inc, a software and services company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Robert Emmet - Principal, Greenleaf Capital Management

Bob Emmet has managed investments at Greenleaf Capital Management (Cleveland, OH) since 2003. As a Member of Investment Strategy Committee, Bob is involved in analysis of publicly-traded common stocks and private investment opportunities, analysis of macro-economic data and trends. From 1975 – 2003, Bob held various financial positions including Controller, Treasurer and Vice President, Financial Planning and Treasurer at Cleveland-Cliffs Inc (Cleveland, OH), an iron ore mining company with operations in US, Canada, and Australia. Cleveland Cliffs is the largest independent iron ore mining company in North America. Bob has a BBA from Yale University, with major in American and Asian history & an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Michael O’Brien - Entrepreneur/Investor

Mike O’Brien brings more than three decades of experience in the areas of organizational development, business strategy, and mergers and acquisitions for consumer-oriented companies such as Pulte Homes and PepsiCo. He is also a founding member of Saxon Motorcycles, which builds and distributes a line of semi custom v-twin motorcycles. Mike received his BA degree from the State University College at Fredonia and his MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of University of Detroit’s Business Advisory Board, a member of the Detroit Executive Service Corps and Board member for several privately held businesses.

Dan McEnroe - Sr. Managing Director, Azimuth Capital Management

Dan McEnroe possesses more than twenty years of experience in financial and investment management roles. He was previously managing director of Sundance Capital Partners LLC, a private advisory and investment firm. Dan has previously held executive positions with the Penske Corporation, including treasurer of Detroit Diesel Corporation, a publicly held subsidiary with $2.4 billion in revenues. His responsibilities included debt, equity and lease financing-related activities, management of strategic investments and joint ventures, strategic planning, merger and acquisition activities, cost reduction initiatives, investor relations as well as cash and risk management. Prior to his tenure with the Penske organization, Dan served as portfolio manager for an institutional investment management firm where he was responsible for funds with an asset value of more than $400 million. Dan received a BBA with distinction from the University of Michigan and earned a MBA degree with distinction from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Dan has attained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Walt Young- Former Chairman and CEO, Champion Enterprises

Walt Young held senior positions with Champion Enterprises, The Henley Group, the Budd Company and BFGoodrich. During 35 years with those four entities, he successfully completed 23 different turnarounds and over 75 mergers and acquisitions. During the past 2 years, Walt has completed 16 start-up and early stage transactions, in several cases as the lead investor.
